As more and more people are falling behind and are having trouble making their house payments scammers are popping up across the country taking advantage of those that don't know any better.
It's a time of stress and a very vulnerable time which makes this even more despicable!
the Obama Administration recently announced a new coordinated effort
across federal and state government and the private sector to target
mortgage loan modification fraud and foreclosure rescue scams that
threaten to hurt American homeowners and prevent them from getting the
help they need during these challenging times.
Free help is available if you are having a hard time making your payments or have had a set back etc.
Don't fall victim to someone promising to get you out of the situation by signing your home over to them or promising the world and getting money up front! If they want the money up front and not AFTER the loan is actually modified then it may indeed be a SCAM!
