If there was ever a time to get real and realistic on price when selling a property here in Redding Ca now is that time.Things are selling...in fact many properties are selling each and every week.
The trick is to price your property below the market just a little...What you ask? This can not be!! We can never price our beautiful home under the market...that simply can not happen...No worries then.....it will sit...and you will get frustrated and probably fire your agent...
The homes that are selling you ask? What homes are actually selling and selling fairly quickly? The REO's are a hot segment right now.Any REO that comes out and is price Sharp...and I mean sharp (yep below the market)...well poof! It is gone...sold...out of here! While the others in the neighborhood do what?? Yep you are right...they sit...and then they have to come down...and come down...and...well you get the point...The question is this?? Presented with all the evidence of what you as a seller need to do....why do most sellers NOT listen to their Realtor??? Why do they get mad when the home does not sell???
